Though steel industry has made progress in recent years but there are still some problems exsiting.

 

1.The whole steel industry does not develop at balance at the same time.Though we have a great increase of steel quantity,the high price still can not cut down.This problem will increse the cost and difficulty of the enterprises' benefit.Small format carbon steel seamless pipe takes advantage of its few cost which leads many private companies established.These private companies make the market quitely fierce.

 

2.The technology economic index needs great imporvement to enhance the international market competition.At present,hot-rolling carbon steel seamless pipes still need advanced technology to improve the yield rate.

 

3.Advanced quality carbon steel seamless pipes still can not be produced at a short time.We have to depend on the import pipes like advanced high pressure boiler pipes.

 

4.The competition between carbon steel seamless pipes and welded pipes is becoming more fierce than before.In the past,people believe welded pipe is lower than steel seamless pipe,but now with the improvement of welding technology,welded pipe can be equal to steel seamless pipe.So steel seamless pipe industry is facing a serious challenge.
